This 1 1/2 day seminar introduces the techniques needed to reunite infants and toddlers to the fluid world, creating healthier and happier babies. These techniques promote bonding, enhanced communication skills and increased trust between parents and babies! We will explore the physical, mental and emotional benefits that bonding in water can do for parent and child. You will learn the developmental characteristics for each age group and what the implications are for infant aquatics. I will take you through all the steps from wetting baby's head to her first underwater swim, safely and confidently. We explore these areas through hands on water demonstrations, video and lecture. I have designed this Seminar for Watsu practitioners, midwives, prenatal psychologists, doulas, childbirth educators and other water therapists who want to work more closely with babies from birth to 3 years and parents in an aquatic environment.

Where: White Stone Retreat Center, WA (60 miles north of Seattle)
When: May 30th, Wednesday, 7:30 - 10 pm May 31st, Thursday, 9 am - 4 pm.
Cost: $150 not including food & lodging
Lodging: Wednesday night - $10 dorm price
Food: $25 for 3 meals - Wed. dinner, Thurs. breakfast & lunch or $15 for 2 meals - Thurs breakfast & lunch
