Workshop led by Judith Halek
This workshop does not advocate any one methodology or concept. It involves knowing more about you, how you present yourself to the world, and the integration of that process. Asleep or awake – how do you live most of your life? What is ‘the dreamer of the dream’ and it’s relationship to your life? What are the fundamental concepts in ‘The Law of Attraction,’ related to pregnancy, labor, birth, and parenting? Eckhart Tolle’s ‘pain-body’ concept is explained regarding its relationship to the birth community.
Through a multi media presentation of stunning photographs, and revolutionary concepts, Ms. Halek will clarify, answer questions, and get your intuitive ‘juices flowing.’
Also included, part one of Barbara Marx Hubbard’s seven part series work, “Humanity Ascending.” Ms. Hubbard helped introduce the idea of futurism to society today. Her motto is, “The Only Solution is Our Own Evolution.” As a pioneer of evolutionary inquiry Ms. Hubbard devoted her life to developing The Foundation for Conscious Evolution.
Pregnant couples, birth caregivers from divergent fields, and those interested a deeper understanding of their life paths can benefit greatly from this workshop.

Judith Elaine Halek, 'Doulatographer,' (Doula/Photographer) and Director of Birth Balance, has explored alternatives in childbirth since 1987. Located in Manhattan, Ms. Halek was one of the first labor support doulas in the greater New York area. Accompanied by a midwife, she assisted the first at home underwater birth in Manhattan. In her 22 years of experience, Ms. Halek has assisted over 1100 couples bring their babies into the world.
Her background includes: international writer/speaker, birth photographer, filmmaker, (39 documentaries on ‘Alternatives In Childbirth,’) labor support doula, childbirth educator, hypnotherapist/imagery, bodywork for the childbearing years, and pre/post natal fitness.
She is theauthor and creator of “Perceptions, Connections, Reflections,” a book/DVD combination featuring inspiring photographs, stories, and insights into fertility, pregnancy, birth and parenting.
Some of her clients include Ricki Lake, Kate Winslet, Rachel Weisz, Samantha Bee, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Peter Sarsgaard, Tonya Pinkins, Maria Hinojosa, Elle MacPherson and Isabel Rose.
